There is no doubt in the minds of many that Steve Jobs was a brilliant and intuitive visionary that made technology accessible and fun. Never had phones, listening devices and computers been so hip till the introduction of the iPhone, iPod and iMac. However, Jobs is dead and many are left wondering, where is Steve Jobs now?
There has been much speculation about the beliefs of Jobs. Some have asked, “was Steve Jobs was an atheist?” Others followed up with asking “was Steve Jobs a Christian?” Steve Jobs was neither a Christian nor an atheist; Jobs was a Buddhist.
In the early 1970’s Jobs went to liberal arts Reed College, he soon left for India in 1973 in search of enlightenment. In 1974 Jobs returned to California with a shaved head, traditional Indian clothing and a fully fledged Buddhist (source).
While I am sad that such an innovative man is no longer with us, I am sadder that I don’t know if anyone talked to Steve Jobs about Christ. I am left with the question; did anyone try to introduce Steve Jobs to Christ? Did anyone say to him, your innovations are breathtaking, but let me introduce you to the creator of innovation.
I can’t answer that question, but I can tell you that it has reminded me that I need to tell my friends about Christ. Consider what Jesus said, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.” John 14:6. If I wait till they die, I will have waited to long. “Do not boast about tomorrow, for you do not know what a day may bring,” Proverbs 27:1. What friends do you have that need to know Christ? No one knows what tomorrow will bring, so tell them today before it becomes a day to late.

From the author: I wrote this comment below:
I understand not everyone is going to agree with me here and I’m fine with that. How can I expect everyone to agree with me when so many people reject Christ while he was here on earth? I am making a judgement on spiritual things (1 Cor. 2:15), but I am not judging Steve Jobs to hell (1 Cor. 5:13). Rather, I am asking Christians to make the effort to talk to those around them about Christ’s love. The truth is, despite what Mark wrote, Jesus did much and he was very real.
Jesus is very real and through his word he tells us we have all sinned and fall short of the glory of God and this sin separates us from His love. However, God loved the world so much that he gave us his one and only unique son, Jesus, to die on the cross and be raised from the grave 3 days later. And, who ever believes in him and confess with their mouth, will not die and go to hell, rather they will have ever lasting life with God in heaven.
It is up to each man to either reject or accept this. Regardless, God loves you and wants a restored relationship with you.

So basically you’re calling me a liar. How very Christian of you.
p.s. Please work out where apostrophes go and the difference between your/you’re.
Sorry I’m on a phone but it’s funny I love when people try to pick out everything a Christian does wrong it proves what the bible says even more I’m not calling you a liar I’m stating what is a try to change and what is a fake one and it’s funny because you know it stop denying god and run to him life will be better and if you want to see if he exists go to someone who is dying that doesn’t believe and watch them right before they die and when they see hell its scary I have saw many people do that that just never accept god but it’s been so nice discussing this with you I love it.
If you can add some punctuation then that make sense. Currently it’s like a stream-of-consciousness babble.
I tried to read it three times but it made zero sense.
Yeah I know its kinda hard to add punctuation while eating taco bell on an Iphone. But its no big deal make fun of it. That is fine on the inside you get the point.
I wasn’t making fun of it. Perhaps you could return at a time when you’re able to give your posts more thought and attention?
Matt and McKenzye,
While there are no official rules for leaving comments, I do you ask everyone to be respectful to 1 another. I do have the ability to delete comments and I’m approaching that point now. I do want to see constructive dialogue and I encourage people to give their point of of view, but this is not a yahoo comment section where people can get away with saying just anything. I ask you to take a moment and take a break for the rest of today. If you would like to add to the conversation tomorrow, please do. I would look forward to reading your comments. Thank you.
The question of where Jobs is today is easily answered. He isn’t anywhere. Because he no longer exists. HE IS DEAD. That’s what DEAD means: you no longer exist. You have ceased to be. You are a memory. The atoms and molecules that made up your body continue on, but you as an individual are done. Period. End of story. No pretending about an afterlife will change that. Your imaginary friend can do nothing, because he doesn’t exist either.
Christianity is a joke. GROW UP!

It’s encouraging Jesus told one of the criminals nailed to a cross that recognized who He was that he would be with Him in Heaven. Many of us, and I hope Steve Jobs too, accept Christ as their savior when they realize our souls live after our bodies die. I think Paul gave us the best explanation why so many of us don’t see how amazing Gods love is for us from his letter to the Corinthians; “The message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to those who are being saved it is the power of God.” In His grace.
